Area of competence
My work covers the regulatory and procedural side of the industry rather than the entertainment side. Concretely: how to read the ONJN register of authorised organisers, what obligations a local licence carries, how player identification procedures work, what promotion rulebooks say when read in full, and how a platform’s cashier behaves on the way in and on the way out.
I chose that angle because it is the only one that stays useful over time. An offer expires in a fortnight; the rule by which it is evaluated holds for years. For the same reason, the pages on this site describe mechanisms and avoid presenting promotional figures as permanent facts.
Editorial principles
- Primary source before summary. An operator’s standing is checked in the authority’s register, not in an article — including not in mine.

- No invented figures. Licence numbers, tax rates, deposit thresholds: if they cannot be verified at source, they do not appear here.
- No fabricated testimonials. A „player from Cluj” invented for credibility is fiction presented as evidence.
- No tips. We explain how a price forms; we do not recommend what to back.
What sits outside my remit
Legal and tax advice. I can explain that gambling income tax in Romania is withheld at source by the organiser on a bracketed scale, and point to ANAF for the figures in force — but a particular situation belongs with a specialist, not with a website. Equally, I do not assess the chances of a sporting event and give no betting advice.

The areas I cover most often are the cashier, with its channel and verification rules, and promotions, where the gap between the figure in the banner and the figure in the rulebook remains the single largest source of misunderstanding.
Corrections
If you find an inaccuracy, report it through the channels on the support page, naming the page and the passage. A report that arrives with a source attached is verified faster. The correction is made directly on the affected page, because that is where the next reader will encounter it.
